Frequently asked questions about a corporate event DJ

How early do I need to book a DJ for our corporate event?
For Christmas parties: Fridays and Saturdays in December are often booked up by spring – 6 to 9 months‘ lead time is ideal. Summer parties and trade fairs can usually be planned with 3 to 6 months‘ notice. Short-notice enquiries are worth sending too – just ask about the specific date.
How many guests can be covered with sound?
From an exclusive gathering of 50 people to a large-scale event with 5,000 guests. The sound system is dimensioned to room size, ceiling height, acoustics and guest count. For very large events or split-up areas, a multi-zone setup is used.
Does DJonas also handle the technical side of the programme?
Yes. Speeches, honours, award ceremonies, video clips and stage transitions are supported both technically and musically – including redundant wireless microphones and a soundcheck with every speaker.
Is set-up and load-out included?
Yes, every quote includes set-up, installation and load-out. Depending on distance, a travel fee may apply – this is shown transparently in the quote.
Are DJ and saxophonist available as a duo?
Yes. The DJ-and-saxophonist duo is one of the most popular highlights at corporate events – as a live welcome, during dinner, or as a peak-time moment on the dance floor. Duration and number of appearances are set individually.
Does the setup also work outdoors?
Yes, in dry weather conditions and by prior arrangement, all packages can be used outdoors. For locations without a power connection, battery-powered sound and lighting solutions are available with a runtime of 7 to 8 hours.
How does invoicing, the contract and insurance work?
You receive a written contract with terms and conditions and a proper invoice showing VAT, with a cost centre and PO number on request. Proof of public liability insurance is sent along on request.
What happens in case of illness?
This case is covered contractually. Through a network of experienced colleagues, a qualified replacement with the same scope of service is provided and fully briefed. Equipment and running order stay identical.
